- Confirm that you are selecting the “Wire-Free Switch/Remote” category under Add New devices
- Make sure Bluetooth is turned on
- Make sure your phone is within 25 feet of the remote
- Confirm the battery pull tab is removed and the remote is in set up mode (LED light is blinking blue)
- Force close the C by GE app, then reopen the app and try again.
If the above solutions did not work, you can factory reset the device by pressing and holding the pinhole button until the LED indicator lights up red. Usually takes 3+ seconds.
